The Kravet Dog Lovers Collection

You barked, we listened.

In the world of high-end residential design, we often say that a home should reflect the soul of its inhabitants. But for too long, a specific, highly influential demographic has been overlooked: the four-legged, tail-wagging, members of the family.

This April 1st, we are moving beyond the mudroom. We are thrilled to announce the official debut of the Kravet Dog Lovers Collection. We’ve tapped three of the design industry’s top talents, Evan Millárd, Jennifer Leonard, and Will Hunt Lewis, to use this collection first and treat canine real estate with the same gravity as a Manhattan penthouse.

The Designers Behind the Doghouses

Designing for a client who lacks a social filter requires a specific kind of genius. Our featured designers have utilized the Kravet Family of Brands to ensure that even the most “performance-challenged” pets live in opulence.

Evan Millárd: Sophisticated Sun-Napping

For his client Sophia Marie, Evan focused on the intersection of light and luxury.

“Designing for Sophia, I approached her space as I would any primary residence, grounded in comfort, materiality, and a clear point of view,” says Evan Millárd. “Kravet performance fabrics are layered throughout, chosen not only for durability but for how they hold color and texture in shifting light, an essential detail for a client who spends her afternoons napping in the sun and snoring with confidence.”

Jennifer Leonard: The Patterned Playpen

Jennifer of Nifelle Design brought her signature “more is more” philosophy to Leo’s Retreat, proving that high-traffic doesn’t have to mean low-style.

“Designing Leo’s Retreat required the same eye for detail as any high-end interior: a focus on layers, durability, and serious pattern play,” notes Jennifer Leonard. “Using high-performance Kravet fabrics means he gets the velvet touch, and I get the peace of mind. It’s not just a dog house; it’s a design statement—Leo and Nifelle Design approved!”

Will Hunt Lewis: The Grand Estate

When your client has more followers than some celebrities, a standard dog house simply won’t cut it. Will Hunt Lewis, owner of Hunt & Bloom, was recently commissioned to design a custom, high-end retreat for Remy, the internet’s favorite influencer dog.

“I was hired to design a ‘Cottage Core’ sanctuary for Remy and went straight to Kravet performance fabrics. This camera-ready retreat is built for high-end lounging and maximum aesthetic impact. Frankly, this pup’s new home has a better vibe than my first apartment!”

Features of the “Collection”

Whether your pup is a minimalist Greyhound or a maximalist Great Dane, these bespoke estates offer features specifically engineered for the canine lifestyle:

The Punchline (and the Reality)

By now, you’ve likely checked your calendar. Yes, the “Dog Lovers Collection” architectural estates are our way of celebrating April Fools’ Day. While Evan, Jennifer, and Will Hunt might not be opening a dedicated canine architecture wing just yet, the foundation of this joke is rooted in a very stylish reality.

Kravet Performance Fabrics are no joke.

While we might have had a little fun with the idea, Kravet Family of Brands’ offers the industry’s largest portfolio of performance fabric, wallcovering, and carpet.

Why Performance Matters (For Humans and Hounds)

In a real home, the stakes are high. Whether it’s a spilled glass of Cabernet or a wet Golden Retriever, these fabrics are engineered to endure.

Our Performance Finish lineup features over 2,400+ fabrics utilizing industry-leading technologies to keep your home pristine—most spills can be wiped away with a simple soap-and-water solution, making them truly “life-proof.”

Plus, our unrivaled Performance Durability products offer high double-rub counts to ensure that fabrics won’t pill or thin, even with pets jumping on and off the sofa.

And, with our Performance Indoor | Outdoor products, UV-resistant technology means your deep colors and prints won’t lose their luster in sun-drenched rooms. Plus, gone are the days of stiff, “outdoor-feeling” fabrics. Today’s performance textiles offer the luxury of silk, linen, and velvet with the strength of a superhero.

So, while you might not be building a limestone dog manor this week, you can give your pet (and yourself) the gift of a worry-free home.

Happy April Fools’ from the Kravet team!
